Sustainability Progress

At Hela, we take targeted measures to fulfill our environmental responsibility. Since 2023, we have been preparing and publishing our complete CO₂ inventory. Analyzing our emissions helps us reduce our footprint in the medium to long term. Optimized resource use and our recyclable materials management play a key role in this. By optimizing recyclable materials management and production, for example, we have been able to ensure that less waste is generated or, since waste cannot always be avoided, that it can be sorted and recovered more effectively.
Our packaging also increasingly meets PPWR requirements, as the changes to our buckets and bottles demonstrate. In addition, we evaluate alternative energy sources and continuously improve our use of resources such as energy, raw materials, and water.
