HELA is a true family business and has been since it was founded in 1905. What began as a spice trading business in Hamburg's Schanzenviertel is now a globally operating company based in Ahrensburg. Here, in addition to our much-loved ketchup, we produce spices and spice blends, sauces, and functional ingredients. We also distribute numerous specialty foods, such as high-quality vinegars and oils.
Wherever there is food, you will also find our products – whether visible or invisible! Our customers include food retail, the artisan food trades, food service, and the food industry. In addition to the HELA brand, THEO, ART OF OIL & CHAMKAR are part of our product family.
Our product range embodies more than 120 years of passion and love for flavor. We are rightly proud of this. We can only preserve this legacy and carry it successfully into the future together – as one crew, one HELA family.
